Northeast Chapter June Meeting Announced: Roofing Systems & Cold-Climate Applications — Register Now
The PolyOrgs Northeast Chapter is proud to announce our June meeting: June 24, 2026 at the Marriott Conference Center in Providence, Rhode Island. This month’s theme: Polyurea in Cold Climates — Roofing, Below-Grade, and Freeze-Thaw Applications.
Session Overview
Cold-climate polyurea application is one of the most technically demanding segments of the craft. This 4-hour certified session covers:
- Moisture management in substrates at sub-40°F ambient temperatures
- Selecting the right system for flat-roof applications in snow-load environments
- Freeze-thaw cycling: what the performance data shows about long-term durability
- Case study: A 12,000 sq. ft. below-grade parking structure liner in Manchester, NH
Featured Speakers
Dr. Linda Harmon — Materials engineer with 20 years in cold-climate coating research. Her work on aliphatic polyurea in freeze-thaw cycles has been cited in ASTM working group reports.
Marcus Okafor — 15-year field applicator and PolyOrgs Northeast Chapter Director. He’ll present the Manchester case study with real project data and before/after documentation.
