2026 Certification Update: New Specialty Endorsements & CEU Requirements
PolyOrgs has released updated Certified Applicator Program requirements for 2026. If you hold an active certification, here is everything you need to know to maintain your standing and access new specialty endorsements.
Continuing Education Requirements
All PolyOrgs Certified Applicators must complete 12 CEUs per calendar year to maintain active certification. CEUs can be earned through chapter meetings (2 CEUs each), PolyOrgs-approved online courses (1–4 CEUs), the Annual Summit (6 CEUs), and SPFA or SSPC-approved training events.
New Specialty Endorsements for 2026
Three new specialty endorsement tracks are launching this year:
- Potable Water Infrastructure — NSF 61 compliance, cistern and tank lining, inspection protocols
- Containment & Environmental Protection — secondary containment, spill berms, hazmat pads, SPCC regulations
- Structural Spray Foam + Polyurea Hybrid Systems — roofing and building envelope applications
Re-Certification Pathway
Applicators with lapsed certifications can re-certify through a streamlined two-day intensive process offered quarterly at regional training centers. Contact the certification office or visit the Member Portal to schedule.
Public Certification Lookup
The PolyOrgs Member Directory now includes a public-facing certification verification tool. Members can update their profile and manage certifications through the Member Portal.
